Totalmobile, a leading provider of field service management solutions, is looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to spearhead our cloud transformation. This pivotal role will empower you to drive our cloud strategy, predominantly in Microsoft Azure but with some legacy AWS involvement, to enable secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions that align with our fast-growing business.
Totalmobile specialises in field service management software, helping over 1,000 organisations and 500,000 mobile workers transform their operations. Our platform spans mobile workforce management, dynamic scheduling, rostering, lone worker protection, and advanced analytics, with our latest addition being Asset Management Software.

The Role
You will have a deep knowledge of Azure services and cloud architecture best practices and can work effectively with various teams to align cloud solutions with business needs. You’ll be leading projects that involve everything from cloud migration and infrastructure management to establishing advanced security and compliance practices. You’ll be the go-to expert on everything from virtual machines and storage to Kubernetes, driving best practices and leveraging Azure DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and ARM templates.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of commercial experience as a Cloud Architect. You will be an Azure Solutions Expert (AZ-305 certified) and ready to hit the ground running. You’ll bring deep expertise in core Azure services. Your strong scripting and automation skills using tools like Terraform will enable you to streamline cloud infrastructure and drive efficiency. You’ll have a solid grasp of networking fundamentals within an Azure environment, along with a deep understanding of Azure security best practices, role-based access control, and multi-factor authentication. Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline creation, alongside Infrastructure as Code practices, is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills will allow you to effectively convey complex cloud concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
