Are you ready to revolutionise field service operations? At Totalmobile, we're on a mission to make the work and the lives of mobile workers better. We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to be a pivotal part of our professional services team.

Totalmobile stands as a trailblazing software house, dedicated to enhancing the lives of mobile workers through cutting-edge Field Service Management technology. With a dominant presence across the UK and Ireland, our 390-strong team empowers over 1,000 organizations and 500,000 workers, revolutionising field service delivery and unlocking remarkable returns on investment.

The Role

As a Project Manager at Totalmobile, you will play a vital role in managing the end-to-end delivery of cutting-edge solutions to our valued customers. This isn't just a job; it's an opportunity to shape the future of field service operations by ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you will be doing

You will actively engage in the collaborative management of customer projects, working closely with customer and partner project managers. Your responsibilities extend to providing regular updates on project status to the managing consultant, ensuring transparency and effective communication within the team. A key aspect of the role involves a deep understanding of contract intricacies, milestones, and deliverables to drive successful project outcomes.

You will perform a crucial role in facilitating smooth handovers from the sales team before project kick-off, setting the stage for seamless project initiation. Operating within multi-disciplinary and virtual teams structured in a matrix style, you will lead, motivate, and manage colleagues, partners, and third-party suppliers throughout the entirety of projects.

You will be instrumental in developing and monitoring detailed project plans, Project Initiation Documents (PID), and Risk and Issue Logs (RAID) for each project. A critical phase of your role involves ensuring a streamlined handover to the customer success team during implementation, emphasising the importance of continuity and client satisfaction.

Essential Skills and Experience

You will have an advanced ICT qualification with at least three years of experience delivering software implementation projects. This experience needs to include working for a software supplier in a billable environment. Certified in PRINCE2, CAPM, or PMP, you will bring proven expertise in customer-facing roles within software companies, managing projects from initiation to closure. You will need exceptional interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with a knack for learning new technologies. Motivated, results-focused, and adept at independent work and team collaboration, you thrive under pressure with strong analytical abilities.

Here at Totalmobile, we want our employees to feel valued, appreciated, and free to be who they are at work. We are committed to an inclusive workforce that fully represents many different cultures, backgrounds, and viewpoints. We are dedicated to supporting inclusion and diversity at Totalmobile. We actively celebrate colleagues’ different abilities, sexual orientations, ethnicity, faith, and gender. Everyone is welcome and supported in their development at all stages of their journey with us.
