Description

Totalmobile is a leader in Field Service Management software because we are passionate about improving the work and balance of mobile workers' lives. We support over 1,000 organisations and 500,000 workers to transform the delivery of field services and experience an exceptional return on investment.

Why Us?

Our secret? An unrivalled product suite meticulously crafted right here in the UK through a combination of our innovation and seven strategic acquisitions. From mobile workforce management to operational intelligence, from lone worker protection to field engineer tracking – we've got it all covered.

In this role, you'll work alongside senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge SaaS software solutions. As you immerse yourself in our projects, you'll have the opportunity to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to established coding standards. Your contributions will be vital as you assist in the implementation of new features and functionalities.

You won't just be writing code—you'll actively participate in code reviews, working closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and quality assurance. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the high-quality delivery of our software products and troubleshooting any issues reported by our customers or internal stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Experience

To excel in this role, you'll need a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Your strong understanding of software development fundamentals, design patterns, and object-oriented programming will set you apart. Proficiency in a programming language such as C#, .NET, React, or Angular is essential, and familiarity with web development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

Previous internship or work experience in software development is preferred, and knowledge of Agile software development using Scrum and Kanban methodologies will give you an edge. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and experience with databases and SQL (MySQL, SQL Server, or similar) is advantageous.

Here at Totalmobile, we want our employees to feel valued, appreciated, and free to be who they are at work. We are committed to an inclusive workforce that fully represents many different cultures, backgrounds and viewpoints. We are dedicated to supporting inclusion and diversity at Totalmobile. We actively celebrate colleagues’ different abilities, sexual orientation, ethnicity, faith, and gender. Everyone is welcome and supported in their development at all stages in their journey with us.
