With 400 passionate employees across the UK and Ireland, we are now looking for an exceptional Software Engineering Manager to lead our Data and Analytics team into the next era of innovation.
Over the past year, we have rebuilt our data infrastructure from the ground up, leveraging the latest advancements in Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and OneLake. Right now, our Analytics team is migrating all analytic solutions from our legacy AWS platform onto this powerful new stack. These solutions provide critical insights across field service operations —insights that drive real-world impact for our customers. But we’re not stopping there.
As we look to the future, our strategy is clear: we want to push the boundaries of AI and machine learning to unlock deeper insights and competitive advantages for our customers. We've already begun this journey, hiring a dedicated Data Scientist to develop and refine machine learning models, and we've successfully completed multiple proof-of-concept projects exploring the capabilities of Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and image recognition within the Azure cloud.
The Role
Now, we need a strong leader to take our Data and Analytics team to the next level. As our Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a talented group of software engineers, data scientists, and quality engineers, all working together to deliver high-quality, scalable data analytics products. Your focus will be on developing AI-driven solutions that transform raw data into meaningful, actionable insights, helping organizations understand worker behavior, overcome operational challenges, and improve performance.
This role isn’t just about managing projects—it’s about setting a vision. You’ll be the bridge between technical execution and business strategy, ensuring our analytics products are not only robust and scalable but also aligned with our customers’ needs. You’ll drive innovation, foster a culture of experimentation, and champion best practices in software development, data integrity, and security. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business, translating complex technical concepts into real-world impact.
Skills and Experience
You will need at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing teams and software delivery. We’re looking for someone who thrives in an environment of continuous learning and discovery. You should have a deep understanding of data engineering, analytics, and AI, along with proven experience leading high-performing technical teams. Agile development should be second nature to you, and you should have the ability to inspire, mentor, and elevate those around you. Above all, you should share our passion for using technology to drive meaningful change.
