The Opportunity
Totalmobile has been operating in Australia for around 18 months, already generating a major pipeline of work, exceeding our initial targets. Up until now, marketing support has come from our UK-based central team and an external BDR agency. With strong foundations now in place, we’re looking for a Marketing Manager to be our first dedicated marketing hire on the ground in Sydney — someone who can build, lead, and execute a local strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth.
This is a rare opportunity to combine the energy and agility of a start-up with the support, structure, and resources of an established software leader. You’ll play a pivotal role in embedding marketing as an integral part of our growing local team, working alongside sales, presales, and consulting to accelerate growth in the region.
What You’ll Do
As the Marketing Manager for ANZ, you’ll own the regional marketing plan from strategy through to execution. You’ll take responsibility for developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns tailored to our local audiences, managing relationships with our external BDR agency to ensure a strong, consistent pipeline of qualified leads. You’ll design and implement always-on automated campaigns that generate, nurture, and convert opportunities, using engagement data to refine performance continually.
Collaboration will be key — you’ll work closely with the UK marketing team to localise global content and campaigns while aligning with ANZ sales leadership to ensure marketing contributes 40–50% of the regional pipeline. You’ll also conduct market research and develop competitive intelligence to support segmentation, positioning, and messaging, ensuring our brand resonates across Australia.
What You’ll Bring
You’re a true 360° marketer — equally comfortable developing strategic plans and executing the detail that makes them succeed. You thrive in a fast-paced, semi-start-up environment but value the backing of a global business. You’ll have proven experience in B2B SaaS or software marketing, ideally within a growth or scale-up context, and you’ll know what it takes to build or grow a marketing function in a new geography. You’re confident managing the full mix — from lead generation, content creation, email nurture sequences, and digital-first marketing strategies — and you bring a creative yet commercially focused mindset that connects marketing activity directly to business outcomes.
You’ll be comfortable managing external agencies, adept at using tools like Salesforce, Pardot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo, and open to leveraging AI-driven automation to increase impact. You’ll also have the confidence to prioritise effectively, diplomatically push back on ad hoc requests, and keep marketing focused on activities that drive measurable growth.
