Description

At Totalmobile, we’re rewriting the story of field service management — one product, one customer, one breakthrough at a time. Already empowering over 500,000 mobile workers across more than 1,000 organisations, our software is transforming how critical services are delivered. But we’re just getting started.

Right now, we’re looking for a Software Tester to join the team behind Connect, our fully integrated, cloud-based job management solution. As a vital part of our QA team, you’ll work with a tech stack centred around .NET and C#, helping to shape the quality of a platform used across the UK and beyond. If you're a manual tester with around 2–3 years of experience, and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming — we’d love to meet you.

The Role
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys digging into the details, spotting the edge cases others miss, and ensuring a seamless experience for our users. But it’s also for someone who’s curious, ambitious, and ready to grow. If automation is where you’d like to head, we’ll help you get there. We’re committed to nurturing your technical development, giving you opportunities to build skills that move your career forward.

You’ll work closely with developers, product managers and designers — people who genuinely care about the product, the process, and each other. Together, you’ll test new features, troubleshoot bugs, and continually raise the bar for quality. Your work will touch every part of the software development lifecycle, and your ideas will shape how we test, release, and improve our products.

Skills and Experience
We’re looking for someone with 2–3 years of experience testing web-based applications, ideally within a .NET/C# environment. You’ll have a strong foundation in software testing principles, with hands-on experience in manual testing, test case management, and defect tracking. A background in object-oriented programming is essential, as you’ll be well-positioned to move into automation in the future. You know how to write clear, thorough test cases, identify issues early, and communicate effectively within a cross-functional team. A basic understanding of SQL — including the ability to write simple queries — is a plus. But just as important is your mindset: curious, collaborative, and always looking for ways to improve both the product and how we work together.

At Totalmobile, we believe in creating software that works in the real world — and a workplace that works for real people. You’ll find flexibility, support, and the freedom to do your best work every day. If you're ready to help build something that matters — and grow while doing it — this is your chance.

Here at Totalmobile, we want our employees to feel valued, appreciated, and free to be who they are at work. We are committed to an inclusive workforce that fully represents many different cultures, backgrounds and viewpoints. We are dedicated to supporting inclusion and diversity at Totalmobile. We actively celebrate colleagues’ different abilities, sexual orientation, ethnicity, faith, and gender. Everyone is welcome and supported in their development at all stages in their journey with us.
